MaryLee Sutherland is a
Canadian National; trained as a Registered Nurse, with extensive
medical experience in her native Canada, the Middle East and UK.
It was during her nursing career that MaryLee decided to focus
her knowledge and experience to open her own practice specialising
in Micropigmentation. This further inspired MaryLee to expand
her practice by opening the Academy of Micropigmentation to offer
her years of experience and knowledge by teaching/training others
MaryLee arrived in the UK knowing only
her partner. It was a big career step for her to start her business,
especially not knowing the country or area. It has been a real
struggle with many ups and downs but she was determined to succeed
and now she is a very successful member within the industry. MaryLee's
practice continues to grow.
As a member of good standing with both the, Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professionals (SPCP) and Skin Camouflage Network (SCN),Cancer BACUP database, MaryLee, has through these professional entities attended conferences and advanced training courses, and assisted in workshops internationally in order to keep current of all the changes within the profession.
MaryLee works with each client individually and consultations are both private and free of charge. This provides the client the opportunity to express any concerns and to ask questions without embarrassment. This also ensures the proper colour, shape and style is achieved prior to commencing the procedure.
The procedure is safe and strict hygiene is always maintained.
All needles are single use and disposed of after each use.
Caps, pigment pots and used materials are all discarded after each client to prevent cross contamination and the spread of infection.
